LIVIA’S KITCHEN

Caitlin Emma Bowes

So, let's talk about the sweet stuff.

I couldn’t have a blog post lingering without gushing about my growing sensation of making sweet indulgences pretty damn healthy. Don’t get me wrong, chocolate brownies are chocolate brownies and syrup drizzled flapjacks are syrup drizzled flapjacks and I’m not saying you should change your whole take on what's considered a cheeky Friday treat but if you’re up for a bit of reinvention of some tummy fattening baked goods, Livia’s Kitchen is a knock out of the park.

Olivia Wollenberg, founder and owner of the company Livia’s kitchen has dominated the foodie business and baking game. Based in England, having started from the cozy setting of her parents' kitchen, Olivia runs a YouTube channel, blog, her own shop, and an incredibly satisfying web page which I strongly suggest you bounce ideas off for your next craving, girls night or creative baking session. Diagnosed with food intolerances in 2014, Olivia has created a lifestyle of indulgence centered around sweet but healthy, nutritional food. Seems like a pretty good plan to me as who can resist some traditional chocolate pancakes at the end of the day?

Through their graft, grind, and time over the years, Olivia and her team have also contributed a fair bit to the less fortunate through their work. Follow her story told on her mesmerizing blog page as she guides you through the extraordinary events she has experienced and obstacles she has conquered. If you’re not feeling too confident today, it’s some pretty good motivation to put absolutely any of your skills to work!

The greatest part about Olivia's recipe ideas is that you don't have to sweat those dollar bills! A fair portion of people including myself at times feel that healthy=pricey and to put it into simple terms - Olivia shames this concept. The stunning simplistic nature of her recipes is bound to get you tripping to the grocery store in no time, leaving you surprisingly satisfied rather than filled with anxiety as you watch the numbers on the teller screen rise higher than you were hoping for (and you’ll feel less guilty about that “I don’t actually need these” pair of shoes you just splurged on).

If you’re sold on my words that don’t do Olivia close to enough justice, and would love to invest in her cook book: https://liviaskitchen.co.uk/cookbook/
